I love journaling.

I have many different journals.  From tracking my health and business plan in bullet journal style journals to my stream of conscious manifestation and gratitude journal.  The only kind of journal I do not have is a dairy; I have never been one to keep a diary.

While I love my bujo style journals, my favourite is definitely my stream of consciousness journal.

Being able to just let the thoughts flow through my hands is very therapeutic.  Part of my self-care morning routine is to write my morning pages.  On these morning pages, I let everything out of my head without judgement or critic.

Some days I know exactly what I want to start writing about.  There may be a thought that I need to get out of my head or a situation I need to work out.  Some days I also like to write gratitude and “I am” statements.  But there are days where I suffer from writer’s block, and on these days I have my journal prompts.

At the beginning of the year, when I was feeling very inspired one day, I wrote out 365 journal prompts.  Whenever I struggle with what to write, I will look through this notebook and find something that inspires me to write.
